Pizza
“Margherita” is the most famous and typical Italian pizza, choose top
ingredient quality and you will prepare a perfect “margherita”:
Ingredients ( using one dose of my dough recipe)
8 fresh chopped tomatoes (or 2 cans of tomato sauce)
2 buffalo
mozzarella DOP (or other mozzarella
cheese)
15 fresh basil leaves
12 tablespoons extra
virgin olive oil.
Start
to prepare the dough using my recipe Traditional Italian Homemade Pizza
(dough) recipe, spread olive oil on flat cooking tray, then lay down
the dough.
Place
on the top tomato and spread it, then drizzle with olive oil and basil leaves. Bake
in preheated oven at 250° for 10/12 min, remove from the oven and cover with
pieces of mozzarella, then bake again for 2/3 min or until the mozzarella
melts.
Serve
warm in pieces and if you want garnish with other fresh basil.
