Traditional Italian Homemade Pizza (dough)

On Wednesday or Friday at our house is a homemade pizza time, especially during the winter,  when it's cold and the evening is perfect to stay at home all together and to prepare a typical Italian dish!

Ingredients for 4 people

1 kg of flour "0"
800g of water
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon of salt
1 packet of dry yeast
Durum wheat flour to roll out the pizza

This recipe is very easy, but you have to prepare it a day before, the dough will be enough for 3 standard flat baking trays.
Take a large bowl and pour in  the flour, water and yeast, mix well with a fork, then add the oil and salt and continue stirring. Let it rest for about ten minutes, then work the dough with your hand on pastry board where you have pour the durum wheat flour.

Continue to knead until the mixture will be smooth, soft, but not sticky.

Put the dough in a bowl brushed with olive oil, cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
 
Roll out directly in the oiled baking tray, the dough will be elastic and will be easy to place in your pan, season to taste and bake in preheated oven at 250 d° for 15 minutes the pizza (especially if you have garnished with tomato ) and focaccia bread for 8/9 minutes.
