Pasta frolla recipe (italian shortcrust pastry)

This is one of basic Italian recipe that you can use to prepare few cakes, biscuits and jam tart. In Italy is one of the most used recipe.

Ingredients
 
250g butter
250g sugar
2 eggs
500g flour 00
 
In a large bowl beat the eggs with sugar using a fork or a whisk, add pieces of butter. Start to use your hands and knead continuously, the heat of  your hands will allow to melt the butter. Stir in flour and continue to work into dough until you will get a  compact pat. Cover with a plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour.
