Italian Besciamella - Bechamel


Ingredients


75 g. butter
3 tablespoons of flour "00"
750 ml full-cream milk
Nutmeg, salt and pepper

Melt the butter with the flour in a saucepan over low heat, when the mixture will be smooth and light brown, stir in warm milk. Mix until it will be thicken, boil for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
The sauce can be used to prepare  lasagna, soufflĂ©, cannelloni and  other preparations.This recipe make for 6 servings ( a medium baking tray).
